If you donate over €250 to Plan Ireland in a tax year, the Revenue Commissioners will allow us to claim the tax back!    This applies if you are a PAYE tax payer and can only be claimed by the charity.    If this tax back is not claimed, the money simply remains with the Revenue Commissioners.

By simply returning the tax relief form, an annual donation of €250 at a standard rate of 20% tax will raise an additional €62.50 and at the higher rate of 41% tax the figure rises to €173.73!
