Plan Ireland has been heartened by the number of individuals, groups, companies, schools and communities around the country who have sprung into action to respond to our Haiti Appeal by organising all types of fundraising events and activities.

A big thank you to all who have helped...

including a table quiz, a fusball tournament, a 6km fun run and a Holywood Legends day. Google’s policy of matching staff fundraising is expected to bring the final total to €7,000. 

Staff who donated the value of one hour’s overtime each and raised €7,000 for Plan’s Appeal.

• Sunkiss Salon in Clare who donated all proceeds from their salon’s treatments on 6th February to Plan’s Appeal.

• Kristina and Julian at Tangofiesta Dublin for holding a very successful Tango Night.

• Louise Fitzpatrick who held an 80’s themed Girls Night In for Haiti.

• Schools all over the country who held cake sales, no uniforms days, talent contests and many other events.

• The Ibis Hotel in Dublin West who held a fundraising day with staff and guests.

100% of the funds raised from all Haiti Appeal events will go directly towards providing children and families with life saving emergency supplies and support over the coming months, including tents, sleeping mats, wash kits, hygiene kits and psycho-social support in dealing with the trauma of their situation.
